Epithalon (also spelled Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) based on the endogenous peptide epithalamin extracted from the pineal gland. It has been studied in gerontology research contexts, with investigations exploring its interactions with telomerase activity and cellular ageing mechanisms. It is supplied here strictly for in vitro and laboratory research purposes.
Preclinical and some early human research, primarily from Russian scientific institutions, has examined Epithalon in relation to telomere biology, cellular ageing models, and pineal gland peptide pharmacology. These findings are investigational and have not produced approved therapeutic applications in Canada.
Storage: Store lyophilized peptide at 2–8°C in a sealed vial, protected from light and moisture. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20°C.
